Terms of Service
These Terms govern use of the Void Valk Discord bot, website, dashboard, automation tools, support services, and related features. Using or inviting Void Valk means you agree to these Terms.
1. Agreement and eligibility
You may use Void Valk only if you are legally permitted to use Discord and online services in your jurisdiction, comply with Discord’s rules, and have authority to install or configure the bot in the relevant server. If you use Void Valk for an organization or community, you represent that you are authorized to act for it.
2. Service description
Void Valk may provide moderation, automated administration, logging, utility commands, tickets, interviews, welcome tools, FAQs, leveling, polls, giveaways, events, access controls, dashboards, automated responses, and integrations. Features may be changed, improved, suspended, added, or removed over time.
3. Service risk and availability
Discord is a third-party platform outside Void Valk’s control. Interruptions, API changes, permission issues, maintenance, security events, or technical failures may affect the service. Void Valk is provided on an available basis and uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.
4. User conduct
You must not use Void Valk for unlawful activity, harassment, spam, malware distribution, unauthorized access, security circumvention, command/API abuse, exploitation, or conduct that violates Discord rules. You must not intentionally interfere with the service or attempt to obtain access to systems or data you are not authorized to use.
5. Server administrator responsibilities
Server owners and administrators are responsible for configuring roles and permissions, limiting sensitive commands to appropriate people, informing members about applicable bot use, establishing community rules, and ensuring moderation actions and data practices in their server comply with applicable law. Void Valk is not responsible for misuse caused by an administrator’s configuration or instructions.
6. Dashboard and account security
The dashboard uses Discord OAuth to identify users and determine whether they have suitable server-management permissions. You are responsible for the security of your Discord account and for signing out of shared devices. You may not attempt to bypass server permission checks or impersonate another administrator.
7. Data and privacy
Void Valk may process Discord user IDs, server/channel/role identifiers, configuration data, moderation and logging information, technical diagnostics, and other information reasonably needed for enabled features. Website authentication uses essential cookies and session data. Details are described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Retention and deletion
Operational data is retained only as reasonably necessary for service operation, support, abuse investigations, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. Eligible deletion requests may be submitted through support, subject to verification and any lawful retention requirements.
9. Third-party services
Void Valk may depend on Discord, hosting providers, authentication systems, monitoring services, or payment processors. Third-party platforms are governed by their own agreements and may change or become unavailable independently of Void Valk.
10. Intellectual property
Void Valk branding, original source code, documentation, designs, databases, and proprietary functionality remain the property of their respective owners or licensors. No ownership rights are transferred merely because you use the service. Unauthorized resale, redistribution, or copying of protected components is prohibited.
11. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Void Valk the limited rights reasonably necessary to process, store, transmit, or display that content for operating the feature you requested, such as ticketing, moderation, or automated responses. You are responsible for having the rights needed to submit the content.
12. Moderation and enforcement
Void Valk may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when necessary to address abuse, security threats, legal obligations, or violations of these Terms. Server administrators remain responsible for moderation decisions made through their server configuration.
13. Premium features and payments
If paid or premium features are offered, payments are final unless a refund is required by applicable law. Premium features may be changed, suspended, or discontinued, subscription prices may change with reasonable notice, and non-payment may result in loss of premium access. Any discretionary refund policy remains subject to mandatory consumer-protection law. Payment processing may be performed by third-party providers.
14. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Void Valk is provided “as is” and “as available.” No guarantee is made regarding continuous uptime, absolute security, fitness for a particular purpose, compatibility with every Discord server, or availability of any particular feature.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Void Valk and its owners, developers, affiliates, contributors, employees, and agents are not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar losses arising from use or inability to use the service, including data loss, business interruption, lost profits, or reputational harm. Where a monetary cap is legally enforceable, total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of US $100 or the total amount you paid to Void Valk during the preceding 12 months. Any limitation applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
16. Indemnity
Where permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or costs caused by your unlawful use of Void Valk, your violation of these Terms, or content and server configurations you control.
17. Termination
You may stop using Void Valk at any time, including by removing it from servers you control. Void Valk may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, Terms enforcement, or legal compliance. Obligations that by their nature survive termination remain applicable.
18. Compliance with law
You are responsible for ensuring your use of Void Valk complies with applicable local, national, international, privacy, and data-protection requirements. Void Valk does not promise that one configuration is legally suitable for every jurisdiction or community.
19. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be revised as the service evolves. Updated terms become effective when published unless a different effective date is stated. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
20. General terms
If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and incorporated policies form the agreement governing use of Void Valk, subject to mandatory applicable law.
